Bridget shared her mission of fostering deeper connections through conversations. “In 2020, we became the least connected despite being so digitally connected. My goal is to encourage meaningful dialogue, whether through simple questions or reflective discussions.” Join us every Thursday for conversations that bring our community closer together!
Sigma Nu and Tri Delta: Fundraising for St. Jude
Sigma Nu and Tri Delta partnered this week to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, aiming to help end childhood cancer.Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference!

Empowering East Texas Communities
Len introduced a nonprofit working to empower communities of color in East Texas. “Our mission includes voter registration and providing essential information about local elections. We’re new here and excited to make a positive impact.” Stay tuned for upcoming voter drives and community engagement events!
Mental Health Awareness Week
This week featured events promoting self-care and relaxation:
• Affirmation Jars: Students decorated jars with affirmations, goals, or personal thoughts.
• Free Crafts and Wellness Activities: From button-making to bracelet design, participants enjoyed a break from academic stress.
Mental health matters, and this week reminded everyone to take time for themselves.
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)
Jessica, FBLA President, shared their focus on career growth and professional development. Upcoming events include; Internship Seminar to meet employers offering internships, guest speaker from NREF: Learn from an industry leader about career journeys.

Public Health Awareness
Isabella, a public health intern, highlighted the importance of staying informed on key issues like sexual health, climate change, and civic engagement. “We’re encouraging students to take an active role in their communities while learning about critical public health topics.”
